Terms of use

These terms govern the use of Palier (paliertcf.com), a TCF Canada preparation service. By creating an account, you accept them.

The service

Palier offers Reading and Listening Comprehension practice sets, Written and Oral Expression topics, a Written Expression simulator with automatic correction and progress tracking.

Palier is not affiliated with France Éducation International or with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. The scores and levels shown are estimates: only the official TCF Canada result counts.

Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secret. The account is personal: you may not share it. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

Free access and offers

Part of the content is available for free. The rest is reserved for Premium members. Premium access may also be offered for a limited time, for example during a promotion.

Terms of sale

Paid offers give Premium access for a fixed period, with no automatic renewal. Prices are stated in US dollars (USD); those shown on the Pricing page at the time of the order apply. By card, taxes may be added depending on your country; they are shown before payment. With Mobile Money, the price is converted into CFA francs at the current rate, rounded up to the nearest hundred: the exact amount is shown before you pay and no longer changes for that order.

• Individual Premium access: Express (5 days, 9 USD), Sprint (15 days, 14 USD), Essential (1 month, 22 USD), Intensive (2 months, 38 USD), Complete (3 months, 52 USD).
• Group access, for 1 month, for the holder and the people they invite: Duo (1 seat, 38 USD), Trio (2 seats, 52 USD), Group of 5 (4 seats, 78 USD). The holder remains responsible for the members they invite; the members' access ends with the holder's.

Payment is made by card (Visa, Mastercard) or by Mobile Money, with the operators offered on the payment page, through our payment providers. Access is activated as soon as the provider confirms the payment, and a receipt is sent by email. If you already have Premium access, the days purchased are added to its end. A discount code can only be used once per account and cannot be combined with another code.

Automatic correction

Corrections of your writing are produced by an artificial intelligence system. They are indicative, may contain errors and do not replace an examiner's assessment. The number of corrections may be limited per day or depending on your offer.

What is forbidden

• Copying, extracting or reselling the content of the service, including by automated means.
• Getting around technical limits or security measures.
• Using the service for illegal purposes or to harm other users.

We may suspend an account that does not follow these rules.

Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and reliable, without being able to guarantee it at all times. We cannot be held liable for a decision by an immigration authority or for a result obtained in the official test.
